Besides selling my zine-work at DRUK 2025 - an indie art fair for books and prints at Paradiso Amsterdam - I facilitated the opening of the day with a workshop “DRUKbaar”: an embodied preparation for DRUK visitors. DRUK translates as “print” and “pressure”. During this short workshop we explored the idea of pressure - in the body, against other bodies, of the surroundings and outside stimuli, of expectations and ambitions - as something generative. Inspired by the blobfish, who gains shape and orientation through the pressure of the depth of the ocean, we embraced pressure, played with it and allowed it to imprint us.
